Inspired by the way light hits the surface of water, this is an abstract representation of my favorite childhood memories spent at the beautiful rivers in Virginia. In place of the white reflection seen dancing on the water, I filled the space with semi-precious stones, mother of pearl, pieces of old jewelry, found objects, swarovski crystals, foam, plastic, glitter, ink, resin, puff balls, oyster shells, and acrylic paint.
